FUEL THE MISSION
The Texas Energy Museum relies on community and industry partners rather than annual museum memberships. Your support ensures we can preserve our history and provide 100% free STEM programming to 16,000 Southeast Texas children annually.

WAYS TO SUPPORT THE TEXAS ENERGY MUSEUM
The Blowout: Our Premier Annual Event
Supporting the Blowout is the most impactful way to support our entire mission. This signature event—featuring networking and a keynote speaker—provides the essential "General Operating Funds" that keep the museum running.
Your Blowout sponsorship or ticket helps the museum:
  • Preserve the Collection: Protecting thousands of artifacts and archives that tell the story of the Texas oil boom and our regional heritage.
  • Innovate Exhibits: Designing and building exhibits that bring the story of energy to life—from our rich oil history to the cutting-  edge technology of the modern refining industry.
  • Maintain our Facility: Keeping our doors open and our building maintained as a vital historical and educational cornerstone of the Beaumont community.
  • Fuel our Future: Providing the essential foundational support and general operating funds that allow every other educational program to exist.

The STEM Pipeline Initiative
We understand that not all giving timelines or corporate giving cycles fall within the Blowout calendar. For partners who wish to support our mission outside of our annual event, or for those who prefer to direct their giving partially, or exclusively, toward K-12 initiatives, The STEM Pipeline Initiative provides a direct line to our student outreach.
At the Texas Energy Museum, we believe that the story of energy is the story of human ingenuity. Our mission is to preserve the rich heritage of the Texas oil industry while sparking a passion for the STEM careers that will define our future.
What Makes Our Programming Special?
While the world runs on energy, our community runs on inspiration. We serve as a living laboratory where the history of Spindletop meets the science of tomorrow.
  • Zero Barriers: We believe that financial constraints should never stand in the way of a child’s education. That is why the Texas Energy Museum is committed to providing 100% free access for all K-12 school groups and organized youth programs.
  • A Massive Reach: Last year alone, we fueled the curiosity of 16,000 Southeast Texas children. That’s 16,000 potential scientists, engineers, historians, and innovators who connected with our mission this year at no cost to their schools or families.
  • The Bridge to Tomorrow: We don’t just look backward. By teaching the mechanics of the past, we give students the tools to solve the energy challenges of the future.

Why Your Support Matters
When you give to the Texas Energy Museum's Education programs, you aren’t just funding a building; you are investing in a human pipeline of talent. Your donation ensures that a student from all of Southeast Texas can see a drilling rig or a chemical model and realize, "I can do that, too."
We have the history. We have the science. We just need your fuel to keep the engines running.
